Rotherham Hospice is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead the day-to-day coordination of volunteers across the Hospice, providing a welcoming and inclusive volunteer journey from recruitment through onboarding, placement and ongoing support.

The role works with managers to match volunteers to roles, maintain records, ensure safeguarding, and develop opportunities for training and recognition, with a focus on a safe, valued volunteer experience.

Competenze

• Experience coordinating volunteers or similar community programmes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive volunteering.

Mansioni

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding and DBS checks.
• Match volunteers to suitable roles based on skills and availability.
• Maintain confidential volunteer records and report insights.
• Support volunteering activity safely and in line with Hospice policies.
