Job summary

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Educator to join the Community Resilience team. The role supports volunteers across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, with responsibilities to plan and deliver training, mentor staff, and ensure program standards are met.

The post may be part-time (0.5 WTE) or full-time, with activities including after-hours work and travel between sites. The Educator will engage with Community First Responders, Chaplains, Retirement Associations,

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering training/education to staff and volunteers.
• Ability to mentor staff and volunteers and support development.
• Flexible approach to meet volunteers' and the public's needs, including after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate training and mentoring for staff and volunteers across divisions.
• Maintain competency to required NHS Trust standards.
• Act as first point of contact for educational programme candidates; escalate concerns as needed.
• Travel between sites as needed and work evenings/weekends as required.
