Job summary

The Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a senior Resuscitation Education Lead to provide specialist leadership in resuscitation education, governance and quality improvement across the Trust. This role drives staff training, safety initiatives and policy compliance with national standards.

You will oversee resuscitation programmes, supervise specialist staff, and contribute to patient safety and clinical effectiveness across hospitals and community services.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and relevant practice knowledge.
• Desirable post-registration qualification in resuscitation or related field.
• Ability to educate across clinical and classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of resuscitation and deterioration prevention training.
• Collaborate across clinical and corporate services to standardise practice.
• Line manage and appraise Resuscitation Nurse Specialists and tutors.
• Coordinate Trust-wide resuscitation education programmes and ensure competency.
• Deliver training including BLS, CPR/AED, ILS/PILS, Anaphylaxis and NEWS2/PEWS.
• Promote simulation-based training to improve staff confidence.
