Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting a Community First Responder Team Leader to supervise CFRs and volunteer schemes across a defined area. You will lead education, training and mentoring, ensuring safe service delivery of pre-hospital care and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

The role requires experience with volunteers, strong communication, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends across remote locations.

Qualifications

• Delivering learning or education programmes experience.
• FREC Level 3+ with progression towards Level 4.
• Full, current UK/European driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Community First Responders and volunteer schemes within a defined area.
• Provide first-line supervision, education, training and mentoring for volunteers.
• Promote open communication, inclusivity and a professional volunteering environment.
• Support evening and weekend volunteering needs and remote locations.
