The National Trust is seeking a Community, Participation & Volunteering Co-ordinator at Ormesby Hall. The role focuses on championing engagement, coordinating activities, and expanding volunteering opportunities within local communities, including groups that are underrepresented.

You will recruit, support volunteers and foster partnerships across teams. Working 30 hours per week with some weekends, you’ll help ensure inclusive participation while upholding safeguarding and data standards.

Formación

• Experience in volunteer engagement and developing inclusive opportunities.
• Ability to manage and support a team.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in using data and insight to guide decisions.
• Proactive, empathetic and inclusive approach.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, and equality.

Responsabilidades

• Champion engagement and coordinate activities to grow volunteering.
• Grow and diversify opportunities so more people can get involved.
• Recruit and support volunteers from local communities and build partnerships.
• Support volunteering work and community engagement, prioritising inclusivity.
• Ensure data and systems are well managed and used to inform decisions.
• Undertake Duty Manager responsibilities and be a main point of contact when needed.
