Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to join the Voids team in London. You will ensure productivity and efficient use of contractor work, manage enabling works, and carry out comprehensive property scopes, reports and post-inspections.

The role requires ILM membership or equivalent, NVQ Level 3, and a valid UK driving licence. You will drive DLO management and HR issues while delivering value for money.

Qualifications

• ILM membership and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.
• Original certifications must be presented at interview; copies not accepted.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation essential; experience in building maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate works to ensure value for money and efficient materials use.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and promote its importance.
• Handle complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate with colleagues to plan and complete work efficiently.
• Build relationships with stakeholders; oversee DLO management and HR issues; conduct post-inspections.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Voids team in London. You will be responsible for productivity and utilisation of internal team as well as managing any properties being completed externally by contractor. You will also be responsible for carrying out a comprehensive scope of the property, creating a report and issuing the works as well as ensuring enabling works have been instructed prior to any works starting, they will also be responsible for DLO management & HR issues as well as then carrying out post inspections of properties.

The role of Service Delivery Manager will include:

• Inspecting works completed to ensure these represent value for money e.g. efficient use of materials
• Maintaining compliance for health and safety, ensuring this is promoted and adhered to
• Handling complaints and breakdowns in service to meet customer expectations
• Working with colleagues to ensure work is arranged, prioritised and completed in an efficient manner
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the customer is our main focus

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership) and have a NVQ Level 3 in a core trade or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment
• Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
• Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
