Ipswich Borough Council is seeking a Repairs Manager for the Voids Service, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver housing repairs and voids works. You will manage resources to meet strict deadlines and support senior managers, with opportunities for training and development within a large property portfolio.

The role requires formal building-industry qualifications, health and safety expertise, and strong budgetary skills. It is a full-time, on-site position based in Ipswich.

Qualificações

• Minimum of HNC/HND in Building Studies or equivalent (or willing to work towards).
• IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH General Certificate are required.
• Experience at supervisory/management level and building industry knowledge.
• Strong budget monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Voids Service within the Housing Repairs Service and report to the Principal Maintenance Manager.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to meet service deadlines and performance targets.
• Develop teams through training and performance frameworks and manage budgets.
