Job summary

Mears Group is seeking an experienced Void Supervisor to lead void property work in Birmingham. You will supervise operatives and subcontractors, drive safety, quality and timely turnover of empty homes to new tenants.

Based on a permanent full-time contract, the role offers a salary up to £40,000 plus a company van and fuel card, with opportunities to develop your team and improve social housing outcomes in partnership with Birmingham City Council.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising void properties or similar in housing or property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance activities.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of void maintenance works across empty properties.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and programme targets.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resident satisfaction.
• Allocate resources and operatives to meet service targets.
• Lead a team of operatives, providing coaching and performance feedback.
