Cornwall College is seeking a Vocational Studies Progression Pathways Study Programme Manager based at the Camborne campus. The role focuses on leading the progression pathways programme within Vocational Studies and supporting learners, including those with SEND and behavioural difficulties.
You will oversee all aspects of the programme as a pathway lead, ensuring a positive, engaging learner experience and high-quality teaching and learning throughout. 37 hours per week, full time.

About the Role
Based at our Camborne campus, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to integrate themselves into a highly successful teaching team. Alongside delivering outstanding education, the successful applicant will take on the role of Study Programme Manager within Vocational Studies.
They will be expected to contribute to a positive experience for all learners, with particular focus on supporting students with SEND and behavioural difficulties. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the programme as a pathway lead, ensuring learners have a positive, engaging experience that enables them to reach their full potential.
Skills & Experience
Applicants must hold, or be willing to work towards, a Level 5 teaching qualification (such as a Cert Ed, PGCE, or DET). For the right candidate, this qualification can be undertaken through the college (within three years of appointment). A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in both English and Mathematics is required.
Candidates must possess an understanding and/or knowledge of working with students with SEND and/or behavioural difficulties. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about motivating, inspiring, coaching, and mentoring learners whilst delivering high-quality teaching and learning throughout.
Experience and/or knowledge working successfully with students who have diverse learning needs and/or behavioural difficulties is essential to this role.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday (however, you may be required to work the occasional evening and/or weekend).
