Job summary

Cornwall College in St Austell is seeking a dedicated Health and/or Social Care practitioner to join our team and help shape the future healthcare professionals. Based at our St Austell campus, you will bring clinical experience to deliver high-quality teaching across our programmes.

You will teach on 16–18-year-old T Level Foundation Year (Level 2), Technical Extended Diploma Level 3 and T Level programmes, managing all aspects of the teaching to inspire and support progression and achievement.

Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in Health and/or Social Care.
  • Teaching qualification or experience of teaching/mentoring.
  • Assessor qualification preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the teaching programmes.
  • Ensure students engage with innovative lessons and are motivated.
  • Support progression and achievement for learners.

About the Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare professionals?

Based at our St Austell campus, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and/or Social Care practitioner, ideally with clinical experience to join our growing team.

Teaching on the full range of 16 – 18-year-old T Level Foundation Year (Level 2), Technical Extended Diploma Level 3 and T Level programmes you will be keen to provide high quality education that inspires using your current experience in the sector. You will manage all aspects of the teaching programmes ensuring that students engage with innovative lessons that motivate whilst also supporting progression and achievement.

Skills & Experience

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has clinical experience, a teaching qualification (or experience of teaching/mentoring) and an assessor qualification however we would also love to hear from people with a passion for the sector and who want to be part of educating young people.
