Job summary

Lytes Cary Manor and Tintinhull Garden are seeking a Visitor Experience Officer to join a small, dedicated team. You will help deliver a high-quality, engaging visitor experience across two sites, with duties including volunteer management and event delivery.

The role is permanent, on an annualised hours contract (1,170 hours) with weekend and bank holiday availability, and a salary of £16,567.20 pro rata (£27,612 per annum). Interview date: 6 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
• Ability to work to multiple deadlines and manage workload.
• Comfortable with IT: Microsoft Office, and web/social media.
• Experience producing interpretive materials and promotional content.
• Familiar with health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional visitor experience across two sites.
• Develop volunteer management and heritage engagement skills.
• Open/close manor and support volunteers on rota.
• Manage group bookings and enquiries for smooth arrivals.
• Act as First Aider and handle incidents with safety in mind.
