Job summary
Raby Estates is seeking an enthusiastic Visitor Services Assistant to operate at ticketing and information points across the site, indoors and outdoors. You will be the friendly first contact for visitors to Raby Castle, Park and Gardens, delivering hospitality and up-to-date information.
Join the Visitor Services team to help sell tickets and events, handle cash with EPOS, and support schools and group visits.
Qualifications
- Great communicator able to provide information clearly.
- Outgoing, helpful and friendly personality.
- Experience with cash handling and EPOS system.
- Confident engaging with members of the public.
- Sales-focused and knowledgeable about the attraction.
- Weekend and holiday availability essential.
- Flexible attitude to undertake any task.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service with a warm welcome.
- Sell tickets, memberships, products, and events.
- Provide genuine, knowledgeable information about the attraction.
- Handle cash with EPOS till and end-of-day reports.
- Assist other departments during events.
- Engage with schools and group visits, provide literature.
