Job summary

Raby Estates is seeking an enthusiastic Visitor Services Assistant to operate at various ticketing and information points, indoors and outdoors, throughout the site. You will be the frontline contact for visitors to Raby Castle, Park and Gardens, delivering warm hospitality and accurate information.

This on-site role involves working independently or within the Visitor Services team, with duties including ticket sales, cash handling, and supporting events at the estate.

Qualifications

• Great communicator able to provide information effectively and clearly.
• Outgoing, helpful and friendly personality.
• Experience of cash handling and EPOS systems.
• Confident engaging with members of the public.
• Sales-focused and knowledgeable about the attraction.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of exceptional customer service with a warm welcome.
• Selling tickets, memberships, products and events.
• Providing knowledgeable information about the attraction and estate.
• Cash handling, EPOS use and end-of-day reporting.
• Assist other departments during events.
• Engage with schools and group visits with literature as required.
