Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking a Visiting Scheme Manager to oversee Oakwood Green in Epsom. The role is 15 hours per week, permanent, and focused on supporting residents’ well-being and independence through proactive property management and strong resident relations.

You’ll coordinate repairs, supervise contractors, and act as the primary contact for residents’ inquiries, with support from Regional and Head Office teams. IT literacy with Outlook/Word is expected.

Responsibilities

• Look after Oakwood Green properties, organise repairs and upkeep of communal areas.
• Oversee annual contractor contracts for cleaning, gardening and window cleaning.
• Serve as the first point of contact for resident inquiries and complaints; support leasehold queries.
• Travel across the region as required; provide excellent customer service to residents aged 60+.
• Utilise IT tools such as Outlook and Word to document and communicate.

Are you customer focused, confident and logical with excellent communication skills? Grange Property Management are looking for a Visiting Scheme Manager to look after our properties at Oakwood Green in Epsom. With a ‘can do’ attitude you’ll prioritise and manage your own workload independently. This is a varied and customer facing role supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence. Lone working you’ll have support from your Regional Manager and Head Office Team along with a Training and Support Assistant.

About the Role

Organised and able to work on multiple tasks, you’ll have a good understanding of building maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the general management of the building including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as to the structure of the property. You’ll also oversee contractors who are on annual contracts and carry out the communal cleaning, gardening and window cleaning.

You’ll be an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with people from all backgrounds, able to develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors and clients.

As the first point of contact for any resident complaints, leasehold enquires or property alterations you’ll be able to advise and empathise with the resident age group which is typically 60 plus.

A good standard of IT knowledge and understanding is an important factor within the Scheme Managers role, as you will be required to use applications such as Outlook and Word.

Information on the scheme: Oakmead Green consists of 49 apartments and bungalows.
