Job summary

Cardiff Marriott Hotel is seeking a dedicated team member to support Sales & Events with administrative tasks, VIP reservations, and reporting. You will work with internal teams to prepare sales materials, coordinate VIP visits, and ensure timely delivery of briefs and collateral.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in a customer service role, a high school diploma or GED, and be proficient with hotel management systems such as MGS, Marsha, and Opera.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong administrative capabilities

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks within the office – replying to emails, research potential business opportunities and share with the Sales Team for follow up.
• Assist VIP bedroom reservations and ensure alerts, traces and amenities are assigned.
• Assemble sales packs and hotel gift bags for VIP FAM & Site Visits.
• Collaborate with Sales & Events Team to complete projects on time with attention to detail.
• Serve as a resource for hotel departments and stakeholders requesting brochures or sales information.
• Generate reports using internal systems (MGS, Marsha, Opera).
• Keep collateral and communications up-to-date and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
