Cardiff Marriott Hotel is seeking a customer-focused hospitality professional to join our events and F&B team. You will help set up and break down event spaces, coordinate with the kitchen for food and beverage orders, and provide outstanding service to guests during conferences and banquets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a customer service role.
• Experience in events or hospitality is a plus.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces for conferences and banquets, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to manage food and beverage orders for events.
• Interact with guests to provide exceptional service, taking orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Serve food and beverages during events, ensuring adherence to quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all service areas.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Support team members and collaborate to achieve common goals.
