Job summary

Centreforequalities is seeking a dedicated professional to design and deliver training programs on violence against women and girls, working with a network of voluntary and statutory partners across Fife. The role emphasises prevention, public engagement, and safeguarding, with blended working patterns and travel to council locations.

You will develop eLearning and workshops, evaluate outcomes, and contribute to strategy while partnering with a job-share colleague to ensure seamless service

Qualifications

  • Educated to SCQF level 8 with significant experience in violence against women work.
  • Experience liaising with a range of voluntary and statutory agencies and service users.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver public protection training, learning programmes and events.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, research, design and deliver training, learning programmes and eLearning to build workforce confidence in identifying and responding to VAWG.
  • Coordinate and deliver awareness-raising events with partner agencies.
  • Ensure age-appropriate learning for children and young people about healthy relationships and VAWG.
  • Contribute to the Fife Violence Against Women Partnership strategy with emphasis on prevention and community engagement.
  • Disseminate information to relevant organisations and the wider public via media and social channels.
  • Monitor and evaluate relevant standards and frameworks across partners.
  • Support the team with other tasks as required and work closely with the job-share partner.
  • Travel to various locations within Fife as needed.
