We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious leader to join our academy as Vice Principal: Quality of
Education. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the school and play a key role
in securing excellent outcomes for all students.
Working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and operational
leadership for the quality of education across the academy. You will lead curriculum development, ensuring
that curriculum intent, implementation and assessment are ambitious, coherent and aligned with Trust
expectations.
The successful candidate will be passionate about improving teaching and learning through evidence
informed practice. You will lead a robust cycle of quality assurance, using assessment information, curriculum
review and pupil outcomes to drive continuous improvement. Through strong leadership, coaching and line
management, you will support colleagues to deliver consistently high standards of education.
A key part of the role will be championing high-quality pedagogy, literacy, professional development and
educational research. Working alongside curriculum and middle leaders, you will strengthen teaching
practice, develop subject expertise and foster a culture of collaboration, reflection and professional growth.
We are looking for a visible, values-driven leader who can inspire staff, students and the wider community.
You will build strong partnerships with families, contribute to Trust-wide initiatives and ensure resources are
deployed effectively to maximise impact and value for money.
As Vice Principal, you will deputise for the Principal when required and, in their absence, lead the day-to-day
operation of the academy.
