Job summary

Learning Community Trust seeks a Vice Principal: Quality of Education to lead educational strategy at New Road Academy, Telford. You will work with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to shape curriculum, assessment and teaching quality while driving improvements across the academy.

You will champion evidence-informed practice, lead quality assurance, and develop staff through coaching and professional development, ensuring excellent outcomes for students and the wider school community.

Qualifications

Experience in strategic leadership to improve student outcomes and develop teaching staff.
Lead quality of education initiatives to boost academy results.
Ensure curriculum intent, implementation and assessment are ambitious and aligned with Trust expectations.
Passionate about evidence-informed teaching and learning improvements.
Drive quality assurance processes, using data to fuel improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead curriculum development and ensure coherence with Trust expectations.
Oversee quality assurance and use assessment data to drive improvement.
Coach and develop middle leaders to raise teaching standards.
Champion high-quality pedagogy, literacy and professional development across the academy.
Collaborate with Principal and SLT to shape strategic direction and outcomes.
