Job summary

Vertical Aerospace is seeking a Vibroacoustic engineer to define and support DO-160-like vibration qualification for the Valo eVTOL. You will manage vibroacoustic models, analyse data from ground and flight tests, and work with Flight Physics, test, and supplier teams to drive evidence-based engineering decisions.

You’ll bring a strong foundation in structural dynamics and vibroacoustics, with experience in vibration testing and accelerometer data analysis, in an aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in structural dynamics and vibroacoustics.
• Experience supporting vibration testing and qualification testing.
• Ability to analyse accelerometer data from ground or flight testing.

Responsibilities

• Own and support DO-160 type vibration qualification activities for Valo systems and equipment.
• Manage vibroacoustic models to assess aircraft vibration and noise behavior.
• Analyse vibration data from ground and flight testing to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, test houses, and internal teams on test planning and evidence review.
• Contribute to development and qualification of Valo through modelling, analysis and testing.
