Job summary

Bupa is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Allington Court Care Home in the Bank area. You will plan and run engaging activities, tailor plans to residents, manage budgets, and coordinate with local performers to create memorable events.

Qualifications

• Creative thinker with ideas and ability to manage budgets and paperwork.
• Able to prioritise tasks and support residents with care and empathy.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner within the home’s budget.
• Organise birthday surprises for residents.
• Liaise with external companies and performers for days out/events.
• Organise one-to-ones with residents (reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading, chat).
• Support home social media channels as required.
