Job summary

CVS Vets-owned practices are part of the UK's leading veterinary group with over 500 practices and 8,000 professionals. This role supports RVNs and Vets to ensure high-quality care for animal patients in theatre and at reception.

You will join a friendly team, with a varied 40-hour week, evening reception duties, and a weekend rota, plus benefits such as leave, staff discounts, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and public interaction abilities.
• Excellent communication and empathy when dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Experience or exposure to veterinary environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting vets and nurses with day-to-day tasks
• Assisting with stock control and restocking of clinical and non-clinical areas
• Preparing operating facilities and theatres
• Care of and reprocessing of surgical kits and equipment
• Performing general cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Running internal lab samples
• General housekeeping tasks to ensure good biosecurity
• Supporting reception team, including booking appointments and processing payments, and evening reception duties including OOH support

About the Role

You’ll support our skilled RVN's and Vets in providing exceptional care to our animal patients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
