Job summary

Clent Hill Vets, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Worcestershire team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers a varied first opinion caseload with consultations, medical work-ups and surgery, supported by a large clinical team and modern facilities.

We welcome both experienced vets and those developing their skills, with a focus on patient care, team collaboration and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS (or eligibility)
  • Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases

Clent Hill Vets, a proud member of the inspiring vet care network, is currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a permanent basis.

We’re looking for someone who would enjoy a varied first opinion caseload with a balanced mix of consultations, medical work-ups and surgical procedures. Whether you are an experienced vet or looking to further develop your skills within a supportive environment, we’ll help you build your confidence and support your clinical interests wherever they may take you.

About Us

We’re a large and experienced clinical team of 10 Veterinary Surgeons, supported by a skilled nursing and support team. We have certificate holders in medicine, feline medicine and surgery, alongside excellent facilities including laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgery equipment, digital x-ray and dental x-ray systems, ultrasound with cardiac probe, endoscopes, therapeutic laser, slit lamp/tonometer and an in-house laboratory.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Working Pattern

  • Part-time, 32 hours per week
  • 3 days per week
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am - 5:00pm)
  • No out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities
