Job summary

inspiring vet care, the UK's leading vet care provider, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established small animal practice along the Sussex coast. You’ll work across three branches with a balanced mix of consulting and surgery, gaining broad GP experience in a supportive environment.

You’ll be part of a team of six vets and nine nurses, enjoy a good work–life balance, and benefit from relocation assistance up to £2,500 and salary up to £55,000 DOE.

Qualifications

  • A veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
  • Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive learning mindset and professionalism.

We have good staff facilities with a large restroom and kitchen. You would be joining a team of 6 other vets and 9 nurses. We see a wide mix of cases and offer a good general practice experience.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.

Working Pattern
  • No out-of-hours commitments
  • 1 in 3 Saturday rota (8am–2pm only)
  • Working between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday with a mix of early and late starts
