Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Hailsham is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon. With a salary of up to £70,000 and relocation allowance, this role offers supportive teamwork and a varied caseload in a well-equipped environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a Veterinary degree and be registered with the RCVS, alongside experience in clinical practice. You'll work collaboratively to ensure high-quality care and support for both patients and clients, contributing positively to the clinician culture.

You’ll enjoy a varied first opinion caseload with a balanced mix of consulting and surgery, working alongside an experienced team of three Veterinary Surgeons who are always willing to share knowledge and provide support. Whether you are an experienced Veterinary Surgeon or looking to further develop your skills within a supportive environment, this role offers an excellent platform to grow and thrive clinically.

Hailsham (Main Practice)
  • Spacious consulting rooms
  • Radiology suite with digital X-ray and ultrasound
  • Dedicated dental suite with dental radiography
  • Full in-house IDEXX laboratory, including Lasercyte
  • Surgical theatre with operating microscope, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry and capnography

  • Separate dog and cat wards
  • Large, secure garden area for inpatients
Polegate (Wellness & Vaccination Clinic)
  • Located just four miles from Hailsham
  • Focused on preventative healthcare and routine care
How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Working Pattern
  • Up to 40 hours per week across our Hailsham and Polegate practices
  • Shifts are issued 12 weeks in advance and typically run between 8:00am and 7:00pm
  • No out-of-hours commitment

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
