Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Reading, England, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy small-animal practice. You will see a varied day with consultations and surgery, supported by three experienced vets and a team of five nurses and support staff.

We offer relocation assistance up to £5,000 and a salary up to £70,000 depending on experience, with professional development opportunities and a collaborative clinical culture.

Qualifications

  • A Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS.
  • Experience in small animal practice with routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships.
  • A proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of patient and client care across a varied caseload.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to support surgeries and consultations.
  • Support ongoing development of colleagues and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
  • Maintain excellent client communication and welfare for the animals in care.
  • Be flexible regarding hour requirements (part-time to full-time).

Here at Shinfield Vets, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. You will see a varied day with a nice mix of consultations and surgery and be supported by 3 experienced Vets as well as a wonderful team of 5 nurses and supporting team members.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
