Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly receptionist for its Rowe Vets practice in Yate. This part-time permanent role (24 hours/week) involves greeting clients and pets, handling appointments, inquiries and payments, and supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams.

You will promote Pet Healthcare Plans, advise on preventative products and ensure a welcoming, professional client journey. Shift pattern includes Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri with varied hours.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time permanent basis.

Rowe Vet Group have a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-under-Edge.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time permanent role working 24 hours per week. The shifts will include:

• *Mondays 8-5pm
• *Wednesday 1-7.30pm
• *Thursday 8-2pm
• *Friday 8-1.30pm

Key Responsibilities

• *Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
• *Booking, cancelling and changing appointments
• *Dealing with queries by phone, email and face to face promptly and professionally
• *Advising clients on our preventative healthcare products and promoting Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance
• *Dispensing medications/prescriptions
• *Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties
