Job summary

inspiring vet care, Wellpets, is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our small animal practice on a part-time permanent basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction while supporting appointment bookings and client communications.

This 16‑hour‑per‑week role operates Mon–Sat with no bank holidays or out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and clients, making appointments, telephone enquiries, taking payments and further administrative tasks.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Wellpets on a part-time permanent basis.

We are a growing small animal practice with two well-equipped sites and a close-knit team that takes pride in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Every team member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our vets bring a wealth of experience, working alongside dedicated veterinary nurses and support staff who share a strong commitment to animal welfare. We prioritise open communication and teamwork, ensuring that everyone’s voice is valued.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week Mon-Sat, no bank holidays or out of hours.
