Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly, organised receptionist to join our team in Downland, Hilsea on a part-time permanent basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, coordinating appointments and delivering a welcoming, compassionate experience across our veterinary team.

As part of East Sussex-based practice teams, you will support clinical and non-clinical colleagues, uphold hygiene standards, assist with stock and basic animal care, and enjoy ongoing development

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Downland, Hilseaon a part-time permanentbasis.

Join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals, comprising vets, nurses, student nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants and receptionists across East Sussex. We take pride in our commitment to continuous learning and development, with veterinary certificate holders in ECC and geriatric medicine and a strong culture of ongoing training. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• Mon - 13:30-19:00
• Tues - OFF
• Wed - OFF
• Thurs - 8am-13:30pm
• Fri - 13:30-19:00
• Sat - every other 8:30 - 13:00
• Total = 18.75 hours per week.
