Job summary

IVC Evidensia invites applications for a part-time fixed-term Receptionist role at Rowe Vets in Bradley Stoke. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, delivering a welcoming, efficient service in a busy practice.

Working pattern is Monday, Tuesday and Friday 2-8pm with one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) every 1:4, 2-8pm. You’ll manage bookings, inquiries and payments while supporting the wider team to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Rowe Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

Rowe Vet Group has a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-Under-Edge.

As a valued member of the reception team, you will be the first point of contact for pets and their owners.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern
  • Both roles are Monday, Tuesday & Friday 2-8pm with 1:4 either a Saturday or Sunday 2-8pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
  • Booking, cancelling and changing appointments
  • Dealing with queries by phone, email and face to face promptly and professionally
  • Advising clients on our preventative healthcare products and promoting Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance
  • Dispensing medications/prescriptions
  • Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties
