Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Receptionist at Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

You will handle appointments, enquiries, and liaise with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth client and patient journey. A collaborative, customer-focused mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
  • Booking, cancelling and changing appointments
  • Dealing with queries by phone, email and face to face promptly and professionally
  • Advising clients on preventative healthcare products and promoting Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance
  • Dispensing medications/prescriptions
  • Taking payments, cashing up and all other general admin and reception duties

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Rowe Vets, Yate on a part-time permanent basis.

Rowe Vet Group have a 24-hour hospital in Bradley Stoke and branches in Thornbury, Yate, Winterbourne, Brimsham and Wotton-under-Edge.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern
  • Monday 1-7.30pm
  • Wednesday 1-7pm
  • Thursday 2-7pm
  • Saturday 1:4 at Yate
Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting our clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
