We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Moorview Vets on a full-time permanent basis. This position will be based across all of our sites on a rota basis.
Our fantastic practice is situated in a stunning part of Northeast England, near the enchanting Northumberland coast with its miles of pristine beaches, and conveniently close to the vibrant city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facilities, which include on‑site CT, direct digital x‑ray, two dental suites equipped with x‑ray, as well as laparoscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound with Doppler capabilities.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
In this role, you will warmly greet clients and their pets both in person and over the phone. You'll be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling as needed. Key administrative tasks include answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing paperwork. You'll also maintain accurate client and patient records and provide updates to clients regarding their pets' care and treatment plans.
