Job summary

Inspiring vet care in Elgin Moray is seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist for Wards Vets on a part-time permanent basis to welcome clients and their pets with a professional, caring approach.

You will manage appointments, answer enquiries, process payments and support the veterinary team, with hours Monday to Friday 1.30pm–6.30pm and occasional Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Wards Vets on a part-time permanent role.

Wards Vets are a RCVS accredited small animal practice based in Elgin, Moray close to beaches, mountains and fantastic dog walking areas. We have been a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice for many years, and we provide services for companion pets, such as cats, dogs, rabbits and other small furries.

Our practice hosts a wide range of equipment such as X-ray, Ultrasound, Dental X-ray machine and in-house lab equipment. We also pride ourselves in being a gold standard ISFM cat friendly practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern
  • Hours - Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 6.30pm with the occasional Saturday morning
