Job summary

inspiring vet care at Wards Veterinary Centre in Moray, UK is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a full-time role. You will work within a supportive clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting with procedures, and contributing to an excellent client experience.

The role includes 40 hours per week, rota shifts 8am–7pm with Saturday mornings, and no out-of-hours commitments. Ongoing development is encouraged through our Nurse Academy and CPD support.

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Wards Veterinary Centre on a full-time basis.
Wards Vets is an RCVS-accredited small animal practice situated in Elgin, Moray, surrounded by stunning beaches, mountains, and picturesque dog-walking areas. As a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice for many years, we are proud to offer high-quality care to a wide range of companion animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small furries.
Our clinic is equipped with modern facilities, such as X-ray, ultrasound, dental X-ray, and in-house lab equipment, ensuring we can provide the best care possible. Additionally, we are a Gold Standard ISFM Cat Friendly practice, prioritising feline-friendly services.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• With shifts between 8am-7pm on a rota basis
• Saturday mornings on a rota basis
• No OOH requirement
