We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as aVeterinary ReceptionistatPet Doctors Chichester Hub

Location:Mainly at the Chichester site but you may be asked to work across the 3 clinics including Rustington and Felpham

Contract:Permanent

Hours: Full time

Shift Pattern:8-4 or 11-7, there will also be 1:5 Saturdays at our Chichester site which will be 9-5.

We are a group of 3 clinics based in the heart of west Sussex, all 3 sites work closely together and have a great team dynamic. Some of the team have been with us 10-20 years!

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

· Answering phones and booking appointments

· Responding to queries via phone, in person and email

· Registering new clients

· Completing insurance forms

· Dispensing medications

· Taking payments

· And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

• Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
• Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
• An excellent communicator with strong empathy
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
