Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our team across three sites. You will manage reception, phone enquiries, and administrative tasks to ensure a positive client and pet journey.

The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary environment. We offer a fixed-term contract of 6 months, with shifts across 38 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Fivelands Vetson a full-time fixed-term basis for 6 months.

Our main surgery is situatedin the centre ofMoseley on the Alcester Road (nearly opposite the Texaco garage).Here we offer our most extensive range of services from nails clips right through to orthopaedic surgery and imaging.

We have ampleoff roadparking at the front of the practice.Ourstaff will give you a warm & friendly welcome.

There are separate seating areas for clients with dogs & cat to minimise the stress to both dogs & cats, and cat only clinics on Wednesdays between 2pm and 3.20pm.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern
  • This is a full time position, 38 hours per week, shift pattern will vary depending on where cover is needed over our 3 sites, 1 in 6 Saturdays.

The right candidate will provide excellent customer service to our clients and their pets. You will need to have excellent communication skills and will be responsible for greeting clients, answering phones, taking messages, taking payments and providing general administrative support. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Veterinary experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.
