Job summary

Royal Canin, a Mars brand, seeks a Veterinary Business Manager to drive sales and promote digital platforms across a Birmingham-based territory. You will build trusted relationships with veterinary practices, offer expert nutritional support, and identify opportunities to grow the business while integrating Vet Express into daily workflows.

The role involves engaging with clinics and groups, at 2-3 industry events per year, with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales or account management experience within veterinary/animal health sectors.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with independently managed territories.
• Confident delivering presentations, trainings, and commercial discussions to diverse audiences.
• Comfortable using digital tools and platforms in a field-based role.
• Experience onboarding/training users on software or digital systems is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, planning and territory management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver territory sales growth and profitability across the defined veterinary territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with veterinary practices, groups and stakeholders.
• Drive adoption and engagement of Royal Canin's digital platforms, including Vet Express.
• Provide nutritional product education, training, and support to veterinary teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop account plans for growth.
• Gather customer insights and collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience.
