Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Biohaem Immunology team, supporting high-throughput diagnostic testing for veterinary samples. You will handle sample processing, equipment maintenance, and meticulous record-keeping while collaborating with colleagues and managers to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• No prior laboratory experience required; full training provided.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation in line with SOPs.
• Ability to work in a high-volume lab environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork across teams.

Responsibilities

• Sample Processing: Preparing veterinary samples and running both manual and automated tests.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and maintained according to standards.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining clear and accurate records to support the timely reporting of results.
• Communication: Acting as a key liaison to ensure smooth information flow between colleagues, managers, and other departments.
