Job summary

CVS Vets is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Biohaem Immunology team, supporting high-throughput diagnostic testing for veterinary samples. You will handle sample processing, equipment maintenance, and meticulous record-keeping while collaborating with colleagues and managers to ensure accurate results.

Full training is provided, and candidates with strong communication, organization, and proactive problem-solving will thrive in a fast-paced lab environment within a leading veterinary

• Ability to work in a high-volume lab environment.

Job description

As a Laboratory Technician in our Biohaem department, you will be part of a dynamic, high-throughput diagnostic team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Sample Processing: Preparing veterinary samples and running both manual and automated tests
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and maintained according to standards
• Record Keeping: Maintaining clear and accurate records to support the timely reporting of results
• Communication: Acting as a key liaison to ensure smooth information flow between colleagues, managers, and other departments

Whilst previous laboratory experience is advantageous, it is not required for this role.
