Job summary

Hollis is seeking an experienced VT Engineer to join our Vertical Transportation team in London, covering the South East. You will deliver specialist VT inspections and reporting, advise on acquisitions and due diligence, and manage refurbishment and replacement projects from inception to completion.

You will also advise on asset management, maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning, review designs and contractor proposals, witness testing and commissioning, and collaborate with engineering,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/4 in lift engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical understanding of lift/VT systems and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist VT inspections and reporting.
• Advise on acquisitions, disposals and technical due diligence.
• Manage VT refurbishment and replacement projects from inception to completion.
• Advise on asset management, maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning.
• Review designs, specifications and contractor proposals; witness testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Building Surveying and Technical Due Diligence teams.
