Job summary

MERKUR Casino UK Ltd is seeking a Venue Manager for the Welling venue. You will drive sales and service excellence, lead a team, manage promotions and events, and ensure high standards of presentation and customer care.

You will be responsible for budgeting, reporting, staff rostering, and maintaining security and compliance. The role requires flexibility for day and night shifts in a 24-hour venue and offers progression within MERKUR Slots.

Qualifications

• Ability to work to budgeted targets.
• Management experience within retail, hospitality or gambling is desirable.
• Experience with management reporting and administration.
• Experienced managing a team.
• Experience with creating staff rotas.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
• Understanding of budgeting as well as Profit and Loss reports.
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if venue is 24-hour).

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre.
• Champion company standards and best practice within venue.
• Ensure marketing, promotional activities and events are delivered correctly.
• Maintain physical and personal security.
• Control cash/assets and minimise risk of loss.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships with regulars.
• Ensure staff are managed and performance issues addressed promptly.
• Recruit and train new team members for the venue.
