Job summary
MERKUR Casino UK Ltd is seeking a Venue Manager for Crewe to lead a high-performing team, delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving venue profitability.
You will manage daily operations, budgeting, KPIs, staff rotas, and compliance, ensuring top service, safeguarding, and strong customer loyalty.
The role offers £36,340 per annum plus bonus opportunities, 45 hours per week, with clear career progression in a market-leading business.
Qualifications
- Ability to work to budgeted targets.
- Management experience within retail, hospitality or gambling preferred.
- Experience with management reporting and administration.
- Experienced managing a team.
- Experience with creating staff rotas.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
- Understanding of budgeting and P&L.
Responsibilities
- Oversee performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre.
- Champion standards and best practice within the venue.
- Lead marketing, promotions and events.
- Maintain cash/assets security and minimise risk.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships with regulars.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and company policies.
- Develop and train the team in line with launches and policy.
- Recruit and train new staff for the venue.
