MERKUR Slots in Wolverton is seeking a Venue Manager to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer experiences at a busy gaming centre. You will maximise venue performance, lead a team, manage staff rotas, and ensure strict compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and the ability to balance day-to-day operations with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling sector is desirable.
• Ability to work to budgeted targets and understand P&L.
• Experience with management reporting and administration.
• Experience managing a team and creating staff rotas.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts if venue is 24-hour.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre.
• Lead marketing, promotional activities and events in the venue.
• Maintain security and cash controls to minimise loss.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with regulars.
• Ensure health and safety practices are followed and staff are trained.
• Recruit, train and develop venue staff; manage rotas and staffing levels.
• Monitor KPI delivery, compliance, and audits; adapt to company policies.
