About the role

The Venue Cleaning Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth delivery of the cleaning shift of our public areas and entertainment venue across the resort. Reporting to the Venue Cleaning Manager, the Accommodation & Cleaning Shift Manager will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining operational standards and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and monitoring team members who clean entertainment venues after shows, all toilet facilities across the resort, move and reset venue furniture, and perform high-level cleaning at heights using industrial equipment for indoor and outdoor areas.
• Supporting and coaching the team to deliver excellent guest experiences and driving key metrics related to the Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach.
• Conducting quality control checks, leading feedback conversations, and managing the execution of the Right People, Right Place, Right Time (RPRPRT) strategy.
• Ensuring delivery of cleaning standards, improving Guest and Employee NPS scores, and reducing guest complaints.
• Managing the onboarding and full employee lifecycle activities, including PDPs, performance management, and HR processes.
• Setting objectives, supporting team surveys, leading action plans, and ensuring health and safety regulations are met.

About You

• Extensive operational experience managing a cleaning or soft services team, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
• High standards, meticulous attention to detail, and experience leading both permanent and temporary teams.
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving attitude.

Additional Details

This permanent role covers 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends, with a late shift pattern from 5:30 pm to 2:00 am.
