Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Vending Machine Operative to join our Derby site team at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK. You will help keep an extensive vending operation running smoothly, ensuring machines are well-stocked, clean and fully functional throughout the day.

In this hands-on role you will work as part of a small team, drive a company vehicle across the site, and often work lone shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner.
• Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Must be aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements for site vehicle use.
• Experience in vending, retail or similar role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Refill and maintain vending machines across the site throughout the day.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure machines are well-presented and operational.
• Support sales by ensuring product availability and stock rotation.
• Drive a company vehicle to transport products safely across the site.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in vending areas.
• Respond to issues with machines promptly and escalate when needed.
• Provide friendly service when interacting with site staff.
• Work independently while communicating with the team.
