Selecta UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain vending equipment across customer sites. You will diagnose faults, perform effective repairs, and complete work with a focus on first-time fix rate while keeping customers well informed.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, strong electrical knowledge and a proactive safety mindset; training and career development are available, with a company van provided for travel.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with at least 12 months experience and no more than 6 points.
• Customer-focused with a smart, professional appearance.
• Strong electrical knowledge demonstrated by work experience or qualification.
• Technical background with fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Awareness of safety when working on electrical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair faults on a complete range of vending equipment.
• Ensure work is completed at first visit where possible; plan return visits if needed.
• Prioritise persistent faults in equipment for timely repair.
• Maintain access to technical manuals and documentation for equipment.
• Attend training courses to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Maintain good customer relations with a pleasant manner.
• Adhere to customer procedures and Health & Safety policies.
• Keep the company vehicle in roadworthy condition and clean.
• Work independently and with colleagues to provide excellent service.
