Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Catering Assistant in Barnsley for a 16-hour-per-week temporary role (3–6 months) with on-site parking and free meals on shift. The role includes food preparation, serving customers, making barista coffee, stocking vending machines, stock taking and more.

You will multi-task in a busy environment while contributing to a welcoming guest experience. The position offers training and development opportunities, a collaborative team, and a chance to grow within a respected

Qualifications

• Service – serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner

Job Description

• Service – serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests’ needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed
• Customer Service - provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their customer journey. Answering questionsin a friendly manner
• Teamwork - collaborate with all other staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support and contribute to creating an inclusive and safe working environment
• Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location
• Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas
