Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle/Trailer Mechanic for our Ballynure depot. You will service and maintain a diverse fleet, including car transporters and tankers, to high standards as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience, a flexible attitude, and a commitment to quality. We offer 29 days holidays, a funded Health plan, and opportunities for development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ qualification or 3 years experience in a similar working environment.
• Ability to work flexibly and to a high standard.
• Experience with a varied commercial vehicle fleet is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and general maintenance on a range of commercial vehicles, trailers, transporters and tankers.
• PSV preparation and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Work as part of the team to meet maintenance targets.

What are we looking for?

Woodside Logistics Group have an excellent opportunity for experienced Commercial Vehicle/Trailer Mechanics to join our team at our busy Ballynure depot.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a varied commercial vehicle fleet, including car transporters and tankers. We place great emphasis on maintaining quality equipment, delivering quality training and applying rigorous controls. We require a Commercial Vehicle/Trailer Mechanic who has the ability to work as part of a team, is confident in their abilities, is reliable and conscientious with a flexible attitude toward work.

The Role:

This role involves the servicing, general maintenance and PSV preparation on a range of commercial vehicles, trailers, transporters and tankers from our modern fleet.

• Level 3 NVQ qualified OR 3 years experience in a similar working environment.
• Be able to demonstrate their ability to work flexibly and to a high standard.
• Previous experience of working with a varied commercial vehicle fleet, including car transporters and tankers, is not essential but would be advantageous.
