TIP Group in Carrington, Manchester, is seeking an HGV Trailer Mechanic to inspect, service, maintain and repair a range of trailers. You will perform routine maintenance and safety inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure roadworthiness.
The role requires recording work and collaborating with the team to keep vehicles moving. The position offers a full-time schedule with overtime paid at 1.5x, and a competitive London/Wider UK market-aligned salary of £40,000 per annum.
Full time: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm

As an HGV Trailer Mechanic you’ll inspect, service, maintain and repair a range of HGV trailers. This will include carrying out routine maintenance and safety inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, completing repairs and replacing or adjusting components as required. You’ll also record work completed and ensure trailers are returned to a safe and roadworthy condition.
