Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team on-site with a prominent automotive manufacturer at a Bedfordshire test facility. The three-month contract is offered outside of IR35 and focuses on supporting vehicle research and development within Vehicle Testing.

You will prepare vehicles for test use, evaluate performance, and assist with instrumentation setup and reporting. IMI Level 3 qualification and a full UK driving licence are required, with hands-on automotive experience

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an automotive environment with diagnostics, servicing and repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Proven experience in vehicle testing environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and parts for test use.
• Evaluate vehicle performance against criteria.
• Assemble and disassemble components for static and dynamic tests.
• Maintain vehicles including safety checks, retrofits, fault finding and repairs.
• Liaise with engineers to conduct tests per client SOPs.
• Set up instrumentation and write reports.
